NNI Names Anthony J. Parkinson Executive Chair

Nexus Nova Innovations (NNI), the company developing a road-legal hovercar platform, today announced the appointment of Anthony J. Parkinson as Executive Chair.


Parkinson is an international entrepreneur and senior executive with a track record across finance, technology, sports, and consumer products. He co-founded Kronos, Inc. (now UKG), served as a General Partner of the Stanley Cup champion New York Islanders, and held senior leadership roles at Hasbro, including Senior Vice President – Europe. He began his career on Wall Street focused on leveraged buyouts.


“Anthony’s global experience and builder’s mindset are exactly what this next phase requires,” said Eleazar Amoussou, Co-Founder and CEO of Nexus Nova Innovations. “His leadership aligns with our mission to deliver practical, sustainable hover mobility that feels like a car from day one.”

NNI is developing the Nexus One, a hovercar designed for everyday roads. The vehicle rides on electric ducted fans with active downwash-reduction and stability control, enabling a variable ride height measured in inches off the surface. The initial full-scale prototype is set to be unveiled in December 2025; a hydrogen fuel-cell architecture will be in development following the battery prototype.


Regulatory approach: NNI is pursuing an automotive pathway with NHTSA as the lead agency and remains in dialogue with federal and state authorities, including the FAA and DOT, regarding safety and operating boundaries.
